Marketing & Communications Strategist
Amy represents a diverse skill set with experience in results-generating advertising, marketing account management, creative development, copywriting, public speaking, public relations, vendor and customer relationship-building, social media, and public relations in the non- and for-profit sectors. A suburban Detroit native, Amy was raised with influence from her father’s affiliation with advertising giants Leo Burnett and Campbell Ewald.
At Chicago-based ad agency Garfield, Linn & Company, Amy serviced national clients including Yamaha, Popeye’s Chicken, Ekco Bakeware, and AM General. Upon leaving Chicago, Amy’s career blossomed in marketing, advertising, and public relations roles for Nortel Networks, National Federation of Independent Business, and The E.W. Scripps Company. Amy majored in classical Vocal Performance at Oakland University in Rochester Hills, MI, and throughout her marketing career, has continued to pursue her love of music by maintaining a “side hustle” as a professional vocalist.
A seasoned marketer and performer, Amy develops effective messaging built on the time-tested method of creating the best appeal for a designated target audience. “Whether for marketing, advertising, or live performance, audience appeal is everything,” she says. In the Marketing & Communications Strategist role for Catalyst Collective, Amy enjoys the harmonic opportunity to apply all of her acquired skills toward growing revenue opportunities for Catalyst’s client partners.
